



CMS, the salt-tolerant fluid loss controller in drilling mud, is a chemically modified (carboxymethylated) product from tapioca starch. It can be quickly dissolved in cold water to form clear gelatin. When used in water-base drilling mud, it works well in fluid loss control and wall protection. It is featured by shear resistance, salinity tolerance and calcium tolerance.
CMS is suitable to many kinds of drilling mud. Its cost is reasonable, and dosage is low, which helps to reduce the overall cost of drilling mud. Our CMS product is in full conformity with API 13A specification.
