DYNAMOD is a polymeric material acting as rheology modifier for oil-base mud. It is employed to raise LSRV (Low Shear Rate Viscosity) and YP (Yield Point) of the invert emulsion, but with low impact on plastic viscosity.
DYNAMOD is designed to affect the other mud properties as little as possible, such as emulsion stability and HTHP fluid loss. DYNAMOD is compatible with all other Unitech oil-base mud additives.
Typical physical properties as below:
Appearance: dark amber, mobile liquid
Odor: slightly mineral oil
Specific Gravity at 20oC: 0.95– 1.05
Flash Point: > 110°C
Pour Point: < -5°C
